Abstract:
In order to research H
2S adsorption and adsorption model in different ranks coal, the proximate analysis, petrography analysis and isotherms adsorption experiment were conducted respectively on Xinjiang gas coal, Lu'an lean coal and Jincheng anthracite. Langmuir, BET, D-R and D-A models were adopted, fitting software was used to conduct nonlinear regression fitting of data of isothermal adsorption experiment and examine the fitting degree. The results showed that H
2S adsorption increased with coal rank, and was of sorption isotherm type I. The fitting results of Langmuir model were the best, followed by D-A model, BET model was poor. The fitting degree had nothing to do with the number of parameters. The theory of monolayer adsorption can be used to explain H
2S adsorption in coal.
