突变理论在地震资料解释中的应用

Application of catastrophe theory in seismic data interpretation

  • 摘要: 阐述了尖点突变理论,建立了地震信号尖点突变模型并转化为尖点突变的标准形式,在时间域内提取突跳势、突跳时间;在频率域内提取突跳势、突跳次数等参数。运用突变理论对实际地震资料进行构造解释表明:突跳参数曲线上异常的位置与断层的位置有关,为地震资料解释提供了一种新的途径。

     

    Abstract: Point catastrophe theory is detailed in the paper.The point catastrophic model is described here.And the seismic signal is transformed into the standard form of cusp catastrophe by establishing the cusp model.The parameters of catastrophe,such as time-domain catastrophe potential,time-domain catastrophe time,layer catastrophe degree,frequency-domain degree and so on,were applicable to study up on real seismic data interpretation and were used to detect the feasibility of theory.The results show that the position of abnormality of the catastrophe parameter profile or curve is related to the location of fault.It is effective to automatically pick up geology information and improve the precision of interpretation in seismic data.Catastrophe theory will provide a potential method for seismic interpretation.
