Application of VRML to dynamic display of three dimension gelolgic surface

  • 摘要: 简要介绍了虚拟现实和 VRML的基本概念。根据地质曲面的实际情况, 提出采用网格化数据文件与 Elevation Grid节点相结合方法建立虚拟空间, 动态显示三维地质曲面。将该方法应用到煤田地质曲面上, 取得了良好的视觉效果。

     

    Abstract: The basic conception of Virtual Reality and VRML is introduced.According to geologic surface,the virtual space to display the three dimension geologic surface dynamically is constructed using GRID file and Elevation Grid node.The application of this method to coal-field geologic surface approaches a fine visual effect.
