Abstract: Based on the productive experience and a lot of practical data of the Wujia colliery for many years, the author proposed a think and a calcuating method for analysing the economic workable reserves,and put forward that industrial value of the reserves of the complicate coal seam in structure is not depend upon its quantity. With the point, the analyses of the economic workability of the remainder have been worked out,and the contradictory between the production and the reserves management has been relaxed, moreover, a scienific basis for the construction and development of coal mine and the expected results and beneftic have been gotten.
