Contact relationship between Huayuanqiang Formation and Yangshan Formation of Yangshan coal-bearing measures in Beihuaiyang area

  • 摘要: 大别山北麓北淮阳地区杨山煤系构造复杂。野外地质调查表明,其花园墙组与杨山组为一高角度断裂接触,两者之间沉积间断明显、构造变形差异显著,应为不同期次构造运动的应力作用产物。结合沉积特征、变形特征、运动学和动力学特征,认为研究区古生代晚期经历过一次重要的构造事件。从而,北淮阳地区晚古生代以来的构造演化史可分为3个重要时期:形成期(早海西期)、发展期(印支期)和定型期(燕山晚期)。

     

    Abstract: The structure of Yangshan coal-bearing measures is complicated in northern Huaiyang area of Dabie Mountains.The results of geological survey indicate that the Huayuanqiang Formation and the Yangshan Formation are divided by a fault.The discontinuous surface is obvious,and the tectonic deformation is different between them,which should be the products of different tectonic movements,and belong to different tectonic movement ages.Combining with the characters of sedimentology,tectonic deformation,kinematics,and dynamics,this study shows that there is an important tectonic movement in the late Paleozoic,so that the structural evolution in northern Huaiyang area could be divided into three important periods since the late Paleozoic: the formation period(the early Hercynian),the advancing period(the Indosinian),and the complete period(the late Yanshanian).Then the structural framework is established basically.
