Evaluation of the reliability of the collapse column interpreted by 3D seismic in a mine in Shanxi Province

  • 3D seismic exploration technology is spread and popularized in most coal mines in China. But there are no unified standards and practices about how to evaluate 3D seismic exploration results and how to judge its verification. From several aspects such as the accuracy of qualitative interpretation, swing error and coincidence degree, using the formula calculation and comparison of actual data of exploration and mining, the reliability of the collapse columns detected by two 3D seismic explorations in the same exploration area was evaluated and graded. The research suggests that the second fine processing of original data in the mining area has obvious effect for improving the accuracy of collapse columns. Furthermore, the evaluation criteria for the reliability of the 3D seismic interpretation results has obvious rationality and maneuverability.
