Application of radial jet technology in detection of fault occurrence and location

  • At present, the length of the radial jet hole is up to 100 m. Thus the technology has practical application value in the field of water prevention in mines. In 2015, the technology was used to detect the fault in Xingtai mine. The application of this technology in fault detection and location was studied. Based on the comprehensive analysis of jet pressure and resistance process in sandy mudstone, bauxite, limestone, it is concluded that when the radial jet technology was applied to detect the fault occurrence, the detection results of radical jet were accurate when the strata were mainly limestone and the two walls of fault were different lithologically.
